Located at 93 Church Street, our community hub is the heart of Shildon Alive. It is staffed by our advocate and friendly volunteers who are here to welcome you, offer support and advice, or just have a chat. Confidential advice and support are also available by appointment. If we are unable to provide the support you need, we will direct you to someone who can through the Advice Durham portal. The contact details for the hub can be found at the bottom of this webpage. Alternatively, contact us by email at info@shildonalive.org.uk.
As well as being home to our advocacy service, the hub is used as a social area, open to the whole community. During term time, members of the community are welcome to call in for a cuppa and a chat. During school holidays, we offer fun activities for children and young people. Previous activities that have taken place in the hub are cooking science, pizza-making sessions, plant potting, gingerbread house building, and so much more!! Please contact us on 01388 417600 or email info@shildonalive.org.uk to ask about upcoming sessions or call in to see us!
