Shildon Alive are delighted to announce that we have been awarded The King’s Award for Voluntary Service #KAVS2023.
: Shildon Alive receive King’s AwardThe King’s Award for Voluntary Service (KAVS) celebrates the outstanding work of local volunteer groups across the UK and is equivalent to an MBE, it is the highest Award given to local voluntary groups in the UK, and they are awarded for life.
Shildon Alive commented “We are so proud of the whole team for their hard work and dedication to our entire community”.
Mrs Sue Snowdon, His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of County Durham said:
